There has been quite a few different dates going about on the internet regarding the release of the new album from MGMT. So to clear up exactly when you will be able to get your hands on “Congratulations” here are the official dates:

Last week MGMT announced Congratulations will be released on April 13th via Sony/Columbia but today we have even more exciting news! The band have just announced the track listing for the album! There will be 9 songs on the recording which is their first release since their hugely popular 2007 album, Oracular Spectacular.

Today MGMT posted on their website a countdown to their new album release date. Congratulations will be released on Tuesday 13th April 2010 and here is a countdown timer so you can keep checking back!
