MGMT Unveil Congratulations Album Art (17.02.10)

MGMT have just revealed their cover art for their forthcoming 2010 new album, Congratulations. The band have hinted there will be a big surfing influence on the album and that can clearly be seen on their new album’s cover art. The band have teamed up with artist Anthony Ausgang who they met through through the experimental musician Sonic Boom of Spacemen 3 and Spectrum. Anthony was present during the recording of the album and has created something between the firefox logo and some crazy cartoon you watched as a kid. Anyway, we think the artwork is really cool, what’s your thoughts?
